Led by Juno Award Winning saxophonist and keyboardist Aaron Kruziki, EDUCATION REFORM is a transgenre quintet. Rooted in jazz, @edreformband is heavily influenced by the fringes of all genres, ranging from rock, classical, pop, singer-songwriter, M-base, and even Armenian folk music.
All things progressive, Aaron Kruziki and @edreformband have presented their genre-bending music in New York, San Francisco, Oakland, Montreal, Toronto, Vermont, Michigan and San Francisco. The quintet has performed at the Chelsea Music Festival, NY, and the Monday Night Make-Out, one of San Francisco's longest running creative music destinations (10 yrs and counting).
Members of @edreformband have been guest artists and educators at McGill University, University of Arizona, New School for Contemporary Music, New York University, California Jazz Conservatory, University of Toronto and the Richmond Center for the Performing Arts. They have performed at the Winter Jazz Fest and Charlie Parker Jazz Festivals in NY, the Toronto Jazz Festival, the Vancouver Jazz Festival, Festival de la Medina in Tunisia and the Chopin Opderschmelz Festival in Luxembourg.
